Music of Oregon: Womxn Vocalists of Oregon

Womxn

[ woom-uhn ]

a woman (used, especially in intersectional feminism, as an alternative spelling to avoid the suggestion of sexism perceived in the sequences m-a-n and m-e-n, and to be inclusive of trans and nonbinary women)

This playlist is a love letter to the fantastic womxn of Oregon. This intersectional, inclusive lineup features some of Oregon’s most talented artists. Though we couldn’t fit every womxn artist Oregon has to offer, we feel confident this playlist will get you through the beginning of what is panning out to be another long year.
