2020 Portland’s Folk Festival

This folk and americana festival has over 15 bands playing over the two day event. Bands include Ezra Bell, Cedar Teeth, MAITA, Glitterfox, Horse Feathers, Fox and Bones, Pretty Gritty, and many more.
Appetite for Deception, Hysteria - $20

It will be a night of awesome power ballads at the Aladdin Theater this weekend, as two tribute bands will be taking the stage. Appetite for Deception, a Guns N’ Roses tribute group, will be joined by Hysteria, which performs Def Leppard covers. Bring hairspray.

Polar Fest is coming to Eugene this weekend. The event will have several musical acts including Zavy, Toddie B, HD, Prznt and more. This will be a night of hip-hop, rap, and a lot of beats.

Come one, come all! The University of Oregon is hosting quite an exciting class, for free! According to their website, “Tom Bivins, University of Oregon Professor of Journalism and John L. Hulteng, Chair of Media Ethics, will explore the intersection of free speech and ethical sensitivity, especially as they relate to editorial cartooning… The First Amendment simply allows you to do so. Your conscience takes over from there.”

This will be a super awesome time. The event, hosted by Atilla A Kurva, is an alternative drag show that will have a “metal, punk, goth theme.”

This event, hosted by Georges Bouhey, will be an excellent learning experience for those interested in jazz. Learn from Eldon “T” Jones & N Touch, as they take you down a winding road of sweet jazz compositions. Eldon “T” Jones is a saxophonist who plays with the band N Touch.
